| City Cats, in cooperation with the local tackle stores, provinical fish and game groups, City of Winnipeg and the Province of Manitoba, is a lead sponsor of the annual Winnipeg Fish Festival. Now going into its 16th the year, the festival continues to grow and provides a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to learn about Winnipeg urban fishery.
During the day there are mainstage seminars by City Cats fishing pros, kids fishing activity stations, the Manitoba Wildlife Federation casting corral, fish displays, fish arts and crafts and much, much, more.
Next year's festival is scheduled for July 7, 2015 at the Forks where the mighty Red and Assiniboine rivers converge in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. So stop by and let City Cats pros teach you the secrets of landing those monster catfish and walleye!
