Since its inception in 2001, the City Cats fall fishing derby continues to grow and provides an opportunity for all anglers to participate in a derby right in downtown Winnipeg. To date, over $45,000 worth of prizes have been given away and this is the direct result of Winnipeg's corporate community who generously donate prizes to make this event happen and be so successful.

This year's GNA / UAP fall fishing derby was held September 15th at the Forks in Winnipeg. Admission was free and the event was run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with lots of fabulous prizes given away for both adults and youth.
